Canyons
The Canyons are a special place.
At certain times of the year, the Canyons hold Yellowfins, but also Bigeyes and Bluefins. Mahis and Tilefish are also out there. We only go out there (100 miles) if the bite is good. We will always bring you to the best bite.
Midshore
Some of the best fishing happens "halfway" out to the Canyons. Certain wrecks and named spots hold fish and bait during certain times of the year. The fishing can be lights out, with no boats on it! Anywhere from 20-75 miles offshore.

Inshore
The bluefins will crash on bait a mile outside of the inlet. Some years, we will offer inshore trips. They target ghost bluefins off the NJ Coastline. These are usually 1-15 miles offshore but could be a mile off the beach or 40 miles up the beach.

Yellowfin
One of the most fun light tackle species, because of how electric it can be when you find em good. Found midshore but mostly out by the canyons. Years past they set up good midshore.
Bluefin
Rec sized bluefins can be found inshore NJ but also offshore. In the fall they will come in tight, but normally found midshore.
Bigeyes
One of the trickiest Tunas to get on Jig and Pop but it's not impossible. In the canyons while jigging you have shots if they're in the area. Popping, right place right time.
Mahi
Can be found midshore - canyons on any floating structure in the right temps. Fun to catch and great eating. We'll always stop and check anything floating for mahis. Great way to keep filling the cooler.
Tilefish
Out in the canyons you can deep drop for Tilefish, which is a great way to bring home some groceries (Meat)!

Captain Mark Horn
I began fishing at a young age, but when I was 18, I started my commercial career. I first worked on a Longline boat, fishing for Tuna and Swords all over. I quickly bought my first center console and began running offshore with my buddies on my days off working commercially. We always loved fishing light tackle for the tunas, and the big gear for commercial. I got into working on a Scallop Boat at around 24 years old. Fast Forward to now running offshore charters fishing for Tuna and Bass. I've always loved fishing and never worked any other job!
I've put in some very long days offshore for over 12 years, I can confidently say I know what it takes to be successful offshore.
